本イベントは、次年度からスタートする「次世代博士人材育成コース」(https://mirai.kyushu-u.ac.jp/jisedai-course/)の特徴である「若手研究者スクエア」の設立に先立ち、九州大学内の45歳未満の若手研究者(ポスドク等含む)同士でのネットワーキングの機会として、本機構主催で初めて主催したものです。伊都キャンパス以外からお越しくださった方もおり、会場は開始直後から活気にあふれ、和やかな交流の場となりました。

・交流したい方がたくさんいて時間が足りなかった。九州大学で「繋がりたい」と思う方の情報をたくさん入手できたので、大変満足しています。
・着任したばかりだったので、貴重な機会と丁寧なご準備に感謝を申し上げます。やはり、アイデアと行動力を備えた、素敵な研究者がたくさんいることが分かり、大いに励みになりました。
・自分が知りたい・繋がりたいテーマをいくつかプレゼンで提示して、ディスカッションさせてもらう機会などあったらいなと思います。

Event Report: Early Career Researcher Networking Reception
On Friday, May 22, 2026, the Early Career Researcher Networking Reception was held at Big Orange, Ito Campus.

Format: Standing reception without alcoholic beverages

Participants’ department: Faculty of Information Science and Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Medical Sciences, Kyushu University Hospital, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Design, Faculty of Languages and Cultures, Institute for Advanced Studies, Faculty of Engineering Sciences, Faculty of Agriculture, Faculty of Law, Faculty of Sciences, Platform of Inter/Transdisciplinary Energy Research, International Institute for Carbon-Neutral Energy Research, and Hydrogen Institute for Sustainability.
This event was organized for the first time by the Promoting Organization for Future Creators, Kyushu University as a networking opportunity for early career researchers under the age of 45 at Kyushu University, including postdoctoral researchers. It was held in advance of the establishment of the Early Career Researcher Square, one of the key features of the Next PhD Course (https://mirai.kyushu-u.ac.jp/jisedai-course/), which will launch in the next academic year.
Researchers from campuses other than Ito Campus also joined the event. From the very beginning, the venue was filled with energy, creating a warm and lively atmosphere for interaction and exchange.
